CJ Kerins
C.J. can still remember, just like it was yesterday, how he transitioned from a popular and extroverted 23 year old with "a little bit of thinning hair", to the complete opposite of his younger self by the age of 28. By his late twenties, his hair loss has progressed so significantly, he became introverted, kept to himself most of the time, and developed a fear of leaving the house without a baseball hat on. He owned hats for casual and more formal occasions, or as formal as baseball hats would allow, to justify him going in public and being around people.
He realized that the fear was, on a certain level, irrational, but he couldn't help that losing hair affected his confidence so drastically. The "ah-ha" moment came one day when his girlfriend turned to him as they were walking to the car, to go for a formal evening out, and said, "Wait, wait. You forgot your hat." Then and there, CJ made up his mind to do something about his hair loss and the effects it had on him. He found Bosley, had a hair restoration procedure and the rest is history.
The results from his hair transplantation have met his expectations and then some; he cannot imagine going back to those days of losing hair and going bald. Now he has a full head of hair, beautiful wife and kids, and has returned to being the life of the party he once was.
CJ is so happy with how Bosley has changed his life, he jumped on the chance to join the Bosley family to be able to help others suffering from hair loss like he did. "Being a part of these people's journey and to witness their transformation from having the procedure.. these are the reasons I do what I do," CJ says.
Helping people overcome hair loss has become his true passion. CJ is also passionate about football and Texas Hold'em poker, which he tries to do as much as his free time permits.
